Biblioasis
www.biblioasis.com

Biblioasis has just published three 'Ghost Story for Christmas' titles, each one of these short stories is by an accomplished novelist with a total master of the supernatural genre and with a Christmas season theme.

"The Empty House" (9781771961981, $6.95, PB, 58pp) by Algernon Blackwood tells the story of Aunt Julia, an elderly spinster with a mania for psychical research, who has the keys to the haunted house on the square. She invites her nephew to accompany her on a midnight investigation into what really happened a hundred years ago when a servant girl fell to her death. But the house may not be as empty as it seems!

In "The Toll House" (9781771961967, $6.95, PB, 42pp) by W. W. Jacobs, The Toll-House has a long and terrible history as a place of death. But Jack Barnes doesn't believe in spirits. His traveling companions, Messrs. Meagle, Lester, and White, wager that he might be convinced otherwise if they all spend a night together in the house. Four men go in, but will four come out?

"How Fear Departed the Long Gallery" (9781771961943, $6.95, PB, 52pp) by E. F. Benson the appearance of a ghost is no more upsetting than the appearance of the mailman at an ordinary house. Except for the twin toddlers in the Long Gallery. No one would dare be caught in the Long Gallery after dark. But on this quiet and cloudy afternoon, Madge Peveril is feeling rather drowsy.

Each one of these three literary gems that blend the supernatural with the Christmas season is unreservedly recommended, especially for the personal reading lists of ghost story enthusiasts during this most festive of holidays!

Most Automobile Accidents Are Due To Driver Error, Speeding, Tailgating Alcohol, Drugs, Drowsiness, Distractions, And Not Having A Plan To Anticipate And Respond To The Numerous Situations Encountered On The Road, Including Mechanical And Weather Related Emergencies.

Dr. Boxer draws upon his decades of driving experience, as well as his observations as a passenger, pedestrian, and teacher, in this guide to becoming a safer, more courteous driver. Critique: Sane Driving in a Mad World: Driving Safety, Courtesy, and Responsibility is a "must-read" for drivers of all skill and experience levels, and especially for novice drivers or individuals working toward earning their driver's license. Chapters address how to pick the safest car, vehicle maintenance recommendations, tips to avoid carjacking, lifelong driving habits one should adopt to minimize the risk of crashes, and much more. "When approaching your car, it is easier to look under a high vehicle such as an SUV, pickup trick, or a van, from a distance, than it is to do this when you are up close. Some attackers and carjackers have actually hidden under vehicles. Along those lines, it is important to park in well lit, busy spaces, rather than isolated, dimly lit, and remote areas of a parking lot." Sane Driving in a Mad World is worthy of the highest recommendation to both personal and public library collections, as its recommendations can literally save lives. 'The Full Round Moon': the full round moon is / music a whole note a / praise song S/He sings / to the Infinite.

Critique: One of the oldest forms of the literary arts, poetry (the term derives from a variant of the Greek term, poiesis, "making") is a form of literature that uses aesthetic and rhythmic qualities of language such as phonaesthetics, sound symbolism, and metre, to evoke meanings in addition to, or in place of, the prosaic ostensible meaning. At its very best a poem, whether adhering to a rhyming rhythm or in a free verse format, should evoke within the reader some emotional or cognitive resonance. And Ellen Cooney has a genuine flair for dong just that with her current collections, "Bite Into The Moon". Offering poems that are timeless, thought-provoking, and genuinely original, "Bite Into The Moon" is unreservedly recommended for the personal reading lists of dedicated poetry buffs, as well as community and academic Contemporary American Poetry collections.

Economic Crisis & Solutions
Theodore D. Kafkas, J.D.
CreateSpace
4900 LaCross Rd., North Charleston, SC 29406
www.createspace.com
9781544223056, $19.95, PB, 276pp, www.amazon.com

The recent economic crisis popular known as 'The Great Recession' still continues for selected elements of our population that are accounted as blue collar and white collar workers. One of the main causes of the economic crisis is the huge employment bubble which is the result of technology changes and population growth. We saw this before with the Industrial Age and the Great Depression. Now, we are seeing an economic crisis with the Information Age.

The Federal Reserve and our U.S. government are not correctly dealing with these effects. The bank bailouts and the approx. 20 trillion dollars of official U.S. debt have not corrected the problems. More, the Federal Reserve and the U.S. government are not just mishandling our economic crisis. Instead, history shows us that the existence and power of the secret Federal Reserve, and our U.S. government's spending, are also large causes of our economic crisis.

None of the recommended governmental economic policy reforms that were recommended to correct the bank deregulation mistakes have been made, leaving us vulnerable to the next economic 'bubble' burst. Then there are the mysterious Plunge Protection Team, petrodollar, BRICS, world banking, and other issues that affect our economy.

All of these issues are analyzed by Theodore D. Kafkas (an attorney in Wisconsin with more than 20 years of legal experience) in "Economic Crisis & Solutions: Unemployment Bubble, Technology, Federal Reserve and Government". If uncorrected, some these issues will reoccur plunging us back into a catastrophic economic crisis.

Basically, our best hope to avoid this looming catastrophe is are the solutions proffered in the pages of "Economic Crisis & Solutions: Unemployment Bubble, Technology, Federal Reserve and Government".

Critique: Exceptionally well written, organized and presented, "Economic Crisis & Solutions: Unemployment Bubble, Technology, Federal Reserve and Government" is as impressively informed and informative as it is thoughtful and thought-provoking. The solutions proffered are 'real world practical' if the political will to implement them can be mustered by a ground swell of public support that will be more compelling to our politicians than their corporate donors. Unreservedly recommended for both community and academic library Contemporary Economics collections and supplemental studies lists, it should be noted for economic students and non-specialist general readers with an interest in the subject that "Economic Crisis & Solutions: Unemployment Bubble, Technology, Federal Reserve and Government" is also available in a digital book format (Kindle, $4.99).

Synopsis: The "Advanced How to Become Money Workbook" by Gary M. Douglas picks up where the original "How to Become Money Workbook" leaves off. It is full of more advanced questions and processes designed to facilitate the insane and limited points of view you have created around money and to create greater ease in your life -- with a lot more money and currency flows.

In a traditional workbook format, this thoroughly 'user friendly', do-it-yourself study is especially useful when asking such questions as: What if money was a vehicle to change the world?; What if you were willing to receive unlimited amounts of money?; What is money? (For some, money is cars; for some, money is houses; for some, money is security.);

But, is money any of those things? No, its not. Money is energy, just as are you energy. There is no difference between you and money except the points of view that you give it.

What if you could BE money? What if you could BE the energy that creates, generates, and produces money? If you could change your financial reality by looking at the points of view you have about money, would you choose to do so?

Critique: Extraordinarily informed and informative, impressively thoughtful and thought-provoking, exceptionally well organized and presented, "Advanced How to Become Money Workbook" is unreservedly recommended for anyone seeking to improve their understanding and management of money as a tool to create the kind of life they want to live and the kind of world they want to live in.

Critique: Featuring a foreword by Paul Dini (producer of Batman: The Animated Series and co-creator of Harley Quinn), 100 Things Batman Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die is an unauthorized guide to Batman comics, movies, video games, live-action and animated television series, and much more. Interviews with a wide-variety of actors and creators connected to Batman, from Adam West and Burt Ward to Frank Miller, Will Arnett, and many more, round out this "must-have" for Batman fans! Synopsis: Sharing a beer or two with friends after work or play is one of life's many joys. Session beers, whose mild strength invites more than one round, adhere to high quality standards and are dedicated to balance and drinkability above all.

Responsible consumption of these high-quality, easy-drinking beers gives beer lovers the freedom to celebrate community and friendship while consuming less alcohol.

Such beers can be challenging to brew, but they present many opportunities to showcase skill, flavor, and refreshment. "Session Beers" explores the history behind some of the world's greatest session beers, past and present. Aspiring brewers will learn about the brewing processes and ingredients to master recipe development.

With "Session Beers: Brewing for Flavor and Balance" readers will explore popular craft session beer recipes from some of the best brewmasters in America, and discover why beer drinkers enjoy exploring and drinking session beers.

Critique: Deftly written, organized and presented, "Session Beers: Brewing for Flavor and Balance" is thoroughly 'reader friendly' in tone and substanced.
