With a title like this, you'd expect this to be a pretty shallow book, a story about looks, for sure, but maybe not much
else. Thankfully, that is not the case. The author manages to combine history, humor, religion, culture, and
relationships, along with great characters, to create a story that will go beyond your expectations. My only complaint is
that because the main character is of Pakistani descent and many foreign words/phrases are included in the text; I would
have liked to seen a glossary included in the back of the book. (Ages 14+)
